The Sewing and Craft Group was set up by Jean McGuinness. Its initial aim was to raise funds to support the work of the Cenacolo Charity which helps people with addictions of all kinds.

They have now expanded and also use their sewing expertise to make Altar Cloths or other liturgical items for the Parish when requested by Fr. George

They are also happy to support other charitable causes if requested.

The Group is open to anyone. No prior experience is necessary and no tools or resources are required to join - but people usually provide their own as their interest grows.

The Group has a wealth of experience and skills which they are willing to share with anyone interested.

We are always looking for new members so anyone who would like to join a friendly, supportive Group will be made to feel very welcome. Just turn up and ask to speak to one of the Sewing Group.

The Group meets after 8.30 Mass on Wednesdays at St Martin's (except school holidays)
